An Arizona House panel voted on Thursday to deny parole, probation or any type of early release to criminals who were in the United States illegally when they committed a crime. In a 5-3 vote the panel approved SB 1377, which makes a judge impose at least the “presumptive” sentence for a crime and denies the person any chance to argue for a more lenient sentence. The bill adds on to a current Arizona state law that permits judges to consider various factors – including immigration status – in determining how long of a sentence to impose. Well the state of Arizona is pretty much claiming if your here illegally and commit a crime, don't expect any help. This is a major victory for all legal American citizens, because now your tax dollars won't be going to help illegal criminals in the state of Arizona. One state down 49 to go. Now if Arizona is to see any natural disaster, now one would have to bet that Arizona will get no Federal help. Arizona will be fine though, because this is one state that's not infested with Liberal Demorats running office. Arizona state leaders might of just finally realized that most people who commit crimes in Arizona are likely to be illegals. Hopefully this will just be the start of more states following suit.
