In the latest NRA ad, black millennial Antonia Okafor says she did not let name-calling–including being called “an uncle Tom”–prevent her from getting a gun for self-defense.The ad is part of the NRA Foundation’s “national campaign,” which has already featured ads with former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, Lt. Colonel Oliver North, Sheriff David Clarke, singer Charlie Daniels, and Benghazi survivor Mark Geist, among others. She stated: To all those who have called me a sellout, an Uncle Tom or a pawn for someone else, here’s what should scare you: I never changed my beliefs. I woke up and realized that you don’t represent them. You don’t speak for me, and you don’t think for me. I am not the victim you need me to be, and I’m talking to more women like me every single day. I’m the National Rifle Association of America, and I’m Freedom’s Safest Place. Good for this woman, she proves in this ad that the second amendment is not a part of this thing called "white privilege." People who say the second amendment is only for white people are basically stating that, because they blame society for their choices and things like the second amendment is just something easy to blame. If your an American the second amendment is for you no matter the shade of your skin, and that is all this woman is trying to tell everyone in this new NRA ad.If your black in America and love this country and our values, please piss off the left in Washington by practicing your right to bear arms.
