A federal appeals court has rejected a freedom of information lawsuit brought about by the American Civil Liberties Union, ruling that the government doesn’t have to disclose the victims of CIA “targeted killings” by drones. The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit last week upheld a lower court’s 2013 dismissal of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The request, made by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), was filed in an attempt to obtain records on the use of military drones, such as intended targets, locations, and how many people died from the strikes. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) argued that the requested documents are exempt from FOIA disclosure because of their sensitive nature, an argument which the lower court had accepted in their summary judgment. The government not willing to show documents over drone killings, only should show us once again something that the government is covering up. A government that is unwilling to release reports whether it be about 9/11 or drone killings, only goes to show us that our Federal government is in the business of hiding things from the public view of Americans. A government that hides documents, especially when it concerns nations we are technically not at war with in drone bombings, is only a government that should not be trusted by it's people. Are they covering up the fact that we have multiple CIA agents that have gone rouge, or are they covering up the fact that we are killing Americans overseas without trial. Or does it get more dirtier than that, as in covering up the fact that the CIA flies armed drone missions over American citizens in America. Remember that home explosion in Indianapolis back in 2012, you gotta wonder if that was a drone mission that the CIA is covering up. If you look at photos of the house in Richmond Hill in Indianapolis, if you look closely at the lay out of the debris it almost looks like it was taken out from the air.
