CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A former Marine says he was fired from his contract job with Time Warner Cable in Charlotte after he lowered the American flag to half-staff on Memorial Day. The Charlotte Observer reports Allen Thornwell was thinking about his best friend, a former Marine who he says killed himself two years ago after he returned stateside. The 29-year-old Thornwell was fired Tuesday. The placement service that arranged the job for Thornwell said Time Warner told them they were disturbed by what was termed him "passion for the flag and (his) political affiliation." Thornwell said he remains in shock over his firing. A Time Warner Cable spokesman confirmed Friday that the former Marine "was no longer under contract" with the company but declined further comment. Wow America he was fired because he respected our dead on Memorial day, so obviously we now have corporations in America who no longer support our military or dead service members in America. They also stated his political affiliation disturbed him, so you would only have to guess he's an African American Marine veteran who supports Trump. This is just further proof that corporations just like our school system in America, is slowly turning against American values and our customs that we celebrate in America. This is further proof that America is slowly turning into the NAU, and proof of anything that represents America is now being punished on American soil. Just more disturbing scenes of corporations turning it's back on the nation and it's people who made them rich and successful businesses in the first place. America is going down the toilet and it's what the controllers want. Thank you for your service brother, and Trump please fix this mess.
