Gov. Rick Scott (R-FL) signed a bill into law Friday that bars state and local governments, and Medicaid managed care plans, from contracting with organizations that have any relationships with abortion clinics. Still another provision bans the sale and donation of fetal tissue from aborted babies and also raises penalties for improper disposal of the remains of aborted babies. Some states have discovered that Planned Parenthood abortion clinics have contracted with waste management companies that burn aborted babies along with bio-hazard waste. A small step for baby one giant leap for the unborn. Finally a law passed to protect unborn children from organizations like Planned Parenthood. Gov. Rick Scott is showing once again that the states indeed have more power then the Federal government. I wish people would realize that even aborting babies from rape victims along is wrong, for the simple reason that the unborn child in the room made no decision in the sexual assault. People who abort their babies tend to look over the simple fact that even a rape baby is a victim, if simply aborted for that reason. More then likely we will see two things after this law has passed in Florida. Either Planned Parenthood will take Scott to the supreme court, along the lines that this law gets in the way of women rights. Or we will see the better thing occur, and that is organizations like Planned Parenthood leaving the state of Florida in the masses.
