Gov. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) says lawmakers must focus on radical Islamic terrorism rather than gun control after last weekend's mass shooting in his state. “The Second Amendment didn’t kill anybody,” he told CNN’s Pamela Brown on Friday in Orlando. "Let’s remember, the Second Amendment has been around for over 200 years. That’s not what killed innocent people. Evil killed innocent people. This is ISIS. This is evil. This is radical Islam.” Scott said the national debate too often focuses on issues besides the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.“I’m tired of what’s gone on in this country,” he said. "We’re not focused enough on ISIS. Let’s focus on destroying ISIS. The Florida governor is right again, that it's not our laws that killed 50 people in Orlando or gun rights. Lay a gun on a table and tell it to kill, and you will see that the gun will not even go off. What killed these people in Orlando is an ideology of Radical Islam with help of a government cover up of Omar Mateen since 2013. You have seen multiple reports of where the FBI likely forced by Obama to let Mateen walk the streets of America, even after multiple investigations of Mateen being terror supported. Mateen was even on these reports while traveling back and forth to Saudi Arabia on multiple occasions, which should of alone raised more red flags at the FBI. Just last night a report was released that a Florida gun shop called the FBI five weeks about the suspicious Mateen asking for things that they didn't even have available in the shop. Extream Islamic Ideology and government ignorance and cover up is exactly what got all these people killed in Orlando on Sunday, not our 2nd amendment.
