Alexander Hamilton, who created the Treasury Department, was originally targeted for replacement, but will remain on the $10 bill after public outcry. Critics called for Jackson to be replaced based on his decision to violently remove Native Americans from their ancestral lands as well as the fact that he was a slave owner. He is likely to remain on the back of the bill, according to Politico. Hamilton has gained popularity recently, thanks to the Broadway hit musical based on his life. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who created and stars in ‘Hamilton’, was a leading lobbyist for the former Treasury secretary to remain on the $10. The back of the bill will be updated, however, with a mural honoring the suffragettes who fought for the women’s right to vote replacing the US Treasury building, the Washington Post reported. Simply just another divide and conquer tactic by the far left, this time with our currency. If only the far left knew about real history, in where Indian chiefs gave up their lands without a fight and let their people get slaughtered. This is nothing more then the left showing their utter disrespect for American history and our founders. If only the far left knew that one of his overseers in Ira Gilbert murdered one of his slaves and wrote up a bill to indict Ira Gilbert of murder. It was one of the first times in American history where a man stuck up for a slave. The left will never tell you of this history but figured I would. Harriet Tubman was an amazing civil rights leader in the slave days, and she has my respect. Honestly though our money should only have images of our founders and great presidents. This is nothing more then a victory for SJW's who want us all to forget our history. The stupidity is that Jackson grew up in the time of slaves, even though it was horrible it was the norm. Realize though that Andrew Jackson was one of the first people in American history who stuck up for slaves, by trying to get justice for a murdered slave which was only dropped where his overseer walked free. We must not forget the history that they do not tell us. Andrew Jackson was one of the biggest supporting presidents of the US Constitution, and it's why we must not allow this action to make us forget him. Taking him off the 20 will only divide this country farther.
