The FBI conducted three interviews of the man suspected of killing 50 people early Sunday morning in an Orlando nightclub, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. An official said the FBI first became aware of the suspect, Omar Mateen, 29, in 2013 when he made "inflammatory comments to coworkers alleging possible terrorist ties." In the course of that investigation, Mateen was interviewed twice, but the FBI was unable to verify the substance of his comments. The FBI interviewed Mateen, who was killed in Sunday's shootings, again in 2014. In that investigation, the FBI was looking into possible ties between Mateen and an American suicide bomber. The FBI determined that the contact did not constitute a threat at the time. The investigations by the FBI are sure to inflame a rapidly evolving political debate about the nature of the violence, and who is responsible. It looks like we can now hold the FBI partly responsible for the 50 plus Americans killed in Orlando last night, by a man who had terror ties for years before he killed those 50 plus Americans in Orlando last night. Interviewing the shooter three times for terror ties and doing nothing about it, shows us that our Federal law enforcement agencies need an audit of their own. That is three times America that we could have deported this man with known ties to terrorism, which if we did those 50 Americans would still be with us today. The FBI having three chances at sending this guy out of America or locking him up in prison for life, but by not doing so the FBI is now 50 percent responsible for the American lives lost last night in Orlando, FL. They probably let him go all three times, because he was a Muslim and felt bad for him or our president told him to be released all three times.
