President Barack Obama has said the classified pages of the 9/11 Commission report that do not “compromise major national security interests” may “hopefully” be soon released. He argued against any potential legal action against Saudi citizens, however.Obama, who is headed to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, discussed in an interview with Charlie Rose his relationship with the Saudi regime and the controversially classified 28 pages of the report, which some believe contain links between 9/11 terrorists or Al-Qaeda and Saudi officials. The full conversation airs Tuesday night on PBS. Former US Senator Bob Graham, who has seen the pages as intelligence committee chair, had already told the CBS program “60 Minutes” that he believes the Saudi government helped the 9/11 hijackers. Rose also asked about legislation that would allow the relatives of 9/11 victims to sue the Saudis, which passed the Senate Judiciary Committee in January, but has yet to be voted on by the full body. Obama has said that he doesn’t support the bill, due to the possibility of foreign citizens – presumably victims of US wars and drone strikes – suing the government. "If we open up the possibility that individuals in the United States can routinely start suing other governments, then we are also opening up the United States to being continually sued by individuals in other countries," the commander-in-chief said. See everyone when it comes to Saudi Arabia, even Obama defends the terrorist supporting nation like the Bush crime family. Seems like Washington is more worried about loosing the riches in the oil rich nation, more then national security or justice for Americans whose lives were lost on 9/11. After 15 years Americans now want answers, and we are tired of supporting a known terrorist state with our tax dollars. Remember that we send billions in aid to Saudi Arabia who had a part in 9/11 which led to the war on terror, and our government is more worried about $750 billion dollars worth of assets more then they are the truth and justice for those families who lost relatives on 9/11. The blocking of this 9/11 bill by Democrats and Republicans alike, should only do one thing which is Americans not voting these for people who have blocked the bill this week. Our president is calling us Americans like he's some foreign leader who crept into the White House. Since your in Saudi Arabia defending them from the 9/11 bill. The question we must ask.... does our president himself have Saudi ties?
