The US should have not relied on other members of its anti-Gaddafi coalition in 2011 to ensure that Libya developed properly afterward, President Barack Obama said in an interview, adding: “Every day I make some mistake.” “In terms of foreign policy, I’ve said this before, we decided to go in as part of a broader coalition, into Libya, to make sure that this guy [Colonel Muammar] Gaddafi, who had been state-sponsoring terrorism, did not go in and start slaughtering his own people,” Obama told PBS NewsHour on Wednesday at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, Indiana. “We succeeded and saved tens of thousands of lives, but I did all too much counting on other countries to then stabilize and support the government formation [in Libya] and now it is a kind of a mess.” Calling it kind of a mess when your foreign policy of ousting out leaders of middle eastern nations, after the fact that they all go to the hands of ISIS and thousands more still get killed is a pretty bold statement. Libya has proven to America again that regime change does not work. In fact it's people like Gaddafi and Assad who kept terrorist who would soon turn into ISIS at bay. Does our lack of a leader Mr. Obama even realize that pushing for regime change in the nations of Syria and Libya, has literally turn these nations into Armageddon like environments? Our presidents push for regime change in Muslim nations, by trying to place Muslim Brotherhood leadership into these nations has done more harm then good. Remember folks we were friends with Gaddafi, until he wanted to trade his nations oil for gold which would replace his oil trade in the US dollar. Regime change never works and Libya, Syria, and Iraq under Bush are proof of it. For all these nations have turned into cesspools of Islamic terror.
