Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu to start the withdrawal of forces from Syria starting Tuesday. Russia will however keep a military presence at the port of Tartus and at the Khmeimim airbase to observe ceasefire agreements. This only comes a day after the so called PKK bombing in Ankara that left 40 people dead, and hours after the Turkish Air Force bombed multiple PKK positions in IRAQ. Remember that almost a week or two ago Putin stated if Turkey violated the ceasefire it would have repercussions and consequences. So I feel as if something bigger is at play here. You don't just suddenly leave a military opp, when a nation you have warned to not break a ceasefire but does. Putin is likely keeping a secret from everyone, and you can't really blame him.
