A bipartisan pair of senators has introduced a resolution that would set conditions on sales of U.S. air-to-ground weapons to Saudi Arabia. Sens. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) offered the measure after reports emerged that the Saudis have used U.S. weapons in attacks in Yemen that killed civilians. “Saudi Arabia is an important partner, but we must acknowledge when a friend’s actions aren’t in our national interest,” Murphy said in a written statement.Saudi Arabia is fighting a war in Yemen against Iran-backed Shiite rebels known as the Houthi. “For too long the Obama administration has not been holding countries receiving U.S. military munitions accountable in the Middle East,” Paul said in a written statement. “It is no secret that Saudi Arabia’s record on strictly targeting combatants and legitimate military targets in Yemen has been questionable.” Rand Paul is showing us that he is at war in the Senate with the military industrial complex, and the nation who is solely behind the 9/11 attacks. See folks it's actually good that he's sticking in the senate, because it allows him to go to war in law against the Washington machine. By Rand Paul getting a Democrat to co sponsor the resolution, goes to show that Rand sticking in the senate is slowly waking up the house that is more important then the Oval Office. Rand Paul and Chris Murphy are only showing us that countries who support terror, basically support that terror with US supplied weapons. We only see our wepons and military vehicles in the arms of groups like ISIS and nations like Saudi Arabia, who continually commit genocide and war crimes with weapons supplied by the American tax payer. We will get to only see where the GOP and DNC lawmakers in Washington stand with a country who is known to support terrorism with this resolution. Rand Paul and Chris Murphy has put the military industrial complex on notice today.
