Turkey’s once booming tourism industry is facing difficult times. The Russian tourism ban over the downed jet in Syria and the recent series of terrorist attacks has led to a sharp drop in visitors. Tourism revenue fell 14.3 percent in the final quarter of last year. Bookings for this summer plunged 40 percent and hotel occupancy rates have more than halved since 2015, the Wall Street Journal cited industry figures. According to the media, hundreds of hotels, bed-and-breakfasts, and boutique resorts have been put up for sale. You can't really blame people for not wanting to go to Turkey, when you are solely responsible for the refugee crisis and ISIS. You have only made your country more dangerous for world travelers by supporting both things. People around the world are starting to notice that Turkey kills everyone who fights ISIS in Syria, and by creating a war in your own nation by slaughtering the Kurdish minority. People are starting to figure out that Turkey is slowly turning into a Sunni/Wahhabi nation. Turkey has only done this to themselves, and you can't put the blame on anyone but the Turkish government for ruining your tourism economy. Pretty soon it will only be Turkish people in Turkey. If you continue to support ISIS and slaughter Christian Kurds.
