President Obama nominated Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, launching an election-year fight with Republicans that will reverberate in battleground states across the country. Senate Republicans immediately ruled out any action on Garland, the chief judge of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, who has nearly 20 years of experience on the bench and a reputation as a moderate. Ladies and gentlemen the anti gun anti 2nd amendment judge that could possibly be our next Supreme Court Justice. This Federal judge has a record of opposing gun rights as a federal judge, which includes a vote to undo a landmark gun rights ruling. Garland was one of Four judges in the case of Parker v. District of Columbia with a full ten-judge panel after a smaller panel struck down the District of Columbia’s total ban on handguns. If senate Republicans allow Obama to get his judge nomination and place him on the Supreme Court panel, every Republican senator shall never be voted to power by Americans in the next senate vote. The only senator who is truly fighting this nomination is Rand Paul, I have received countless emails from the Paul team expressing their disgust with this nomination pick.
