Democrats and the White House are now saying Vladimir Putin’s Russia “interfered” with the 2016 election to help President-elect Donald Trump, insisting Russia represents a major threat to the United States. But in 2012, this year’s losing political party mocked then GOP nominee Mitt Romney for saying Russia presented the “greatest geopolitical threat” to the country. When Romney made his statement in 2012, Democrats pounced, including President Barack Obama. During a debate, Obama said, “The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back.” The Democratic Party tweeted from their official account, “Romney, who calls Russia our ‘No. 1 geopolitical foe,’ doesn’t seem to realize it’s the 21st century. #RomneyNotReady.” Funny how what Dems are crying about with President Trump having Russian connections in the election, where in the 2012 Presidential race with Romney vs Obama...The Democrats and Obama seemed to be exactly like President Trump stating Russia is not an issue. Then again since President Trump beat the whole Washington establishment including Bush and Clinton, the Washington establishment on both sides are hell bent that Trump has Russian ties since he's a non politician that beat the whole system. America it is time to call everyone out on this false narrative of Russia being involved with President Trump, because the same people pushing the narrative that Trump is tied to Russia seemed to all defend Russia against Romney back in 2012. It looks like when you lose in the Presidential election the last two times, the losing side just loves to blame Russia...And Obama and Democrats have turned into the Romney campaign of 2012 by blaming Russia for everything when it comes to their own failures.
