A NBC News/WSJ poll shows that distrust of government-sponsored gun control has risen 15 percent among registered voters since 1995.This is especially interesting when you consider that the Democrats – led by Bill Clinton – implemented their “assault weapons” ban in 1994. From one year after that point until now, voters have grown more and more skeptical of government intervention on guns. According to NBC News, 35 percent of voters distrusted government intervention on guns in 1995. That number has now risen to 50 percent. The numbers are also telling if looked at from the perspective of extant support for gun control. In 1995, 58 percent of voters worried government would not do enough regarding gun control. In 2016 that number is down to 47 percent, which is an 11 percent drop in voters wanting more government involvement in the arena of Second Amendment rights. The poll also shows the NRA is viewed favorably by 42 percent of voters. Only 36 percent of voters disapprove of the NRA. I bet Liberals and NBC feel pretty mentally unstable, after a Liberal news source gun control poll fails in a major way. Americans are slowly waking up after events like San Bernadino and Orlando, that the only people who can truly protect you is yourself. Americans are starting to realize guns are the ultimate form of protection, when confronted by a criminal or terrorist with a gun in America. The only way you can defend yourself from a gun is with equal force, because it only takes a split second for someone to kill you by pulling a trigger. Trying to grapple with a gun toting criminal like the left tells you to do is the biggest mistake you can make when dealing with a criminal who has a gun pointed at you. The best defense is equal force and the 2nd amendment, and this poll likely has Libtards in panic mode.
