Prescription drug spending is growing at record levels, outpacing the overall spending on healthcare nationally, federal health officials warned Tuesday. Drug spending grew by a “remarkable” 12.6 percent in 2014, according to new estimates from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). It will continue to increase by about 7.3 percent annually through 2018. This could also be due to inflation of the US dollar caused by quantitative easing. Guess what else is rising with prescription drug spending? The rise of unemployment, mass shootings, political correctness, and poverty to name a few. The rise of prescription drugs could involve one thing, and that thing is probably due to Americans pretty much saying "fuck it." Americans are just fed up with life as we know it. I solely blame this rise in prescription drug spending, due to the fact that America is going down the shit hole. Drugs are just starting to seem like a way out for frustrated Americans. You know who is solely responsible for this mess? That's right our fucking pathetic government. Very sure that the FDA doesn't mind this increase in prescription drug spending. Matter of fact drug companies probably have the biggest fucking smiles on their faces right now. Sorry for the cussing, but very sure you feel the same way I do.
