Congress is spoiling for a new fight over refugees headed to the U.S. Months after efforts failed in the Senate to impose new obstacles for Syrian refugees, the House is speeding through legislation to lower the number of refugees coming to the U.S. and give control of the issue to Congress not the executive branch. Ultimately, the fate of any efforts to narrow the refugee program appear doomed for the time being, given President Obama’s strong support for resettling refugees. But key congressional Republicans are refusing to let the matter die, indicating that the long history of bipartisan unanimity surrounding the refugee program is over. Europe alone has dealt with multiple atrocities including the Paris attacks which took 130 plus lives since this Middle East refugee crisis began. Senators are finally starting to realize the problems by possibly witnessing what has taken place in Europe over the last year. Now don't expect senate Republicans to not go down without a fight from the Liberal Democrat side in the senate. As Americans we all know how much Liberals love these people while disregarding the issue of the crimes that multiple refugees have committed across the pound in Europe. I would only be willing to help refugees if we first fix the homeless problem in America especially when it comes to homeless veterans. This process of allowing refugees in from the middle east must have a process of the strongest most strictest vetting the world has seen, because remember that these people do come from war torn areas of the middle east. Some of these refugees want to do nothing but commit violence on people who they feel are responsible for the destruction in the middle east, and who those people 99 percent of the time are the innocent. So yes before we solve their crisis we must first solve ours. Also if multiple middle eastern countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar aren't willing to help them, then why should we.
