And to prove his point the next day the media created a scandal out of a report that President Donald Trump was served two scoops of ice cream with his pie while having dinner with Time magazine reporters, while the reporters were served only one scoop.
The Time report does not state if anyone asked for and was refused a second scoop–which would be highly unlikely. When ice cream is served with pie, one scoop is generally served. But as the article states, Trump’s preferences are known by the White House kitchen staff.
This became a scandal. Really. CNN’s Jeanne Moos did a two minute video report on Trump getting two scoops of ice cream. The online version written by Dan Merica was headlined, Trump gets 2 scoops of ice cream, everyone else gets 1 — and other top lines from his Time interview, and has the insulting lede, “President Donald Trump is living every child’s dream: More ice cream.”
Truth be told now with this new Trump scandal involving ice cream, because Trump got two scoops and the media only got one scoop...Don't you think it's safe to say that The Onion is a more reliable source of news then cable news now? Just like you I've never thought the stupidity in the cable news could get to such a special level, but there might only be one row of seats on the mainstream media bus...If you understand what I'm saying?
Trump has literally turned the mainstream media into little children in the span of just over a year, and now Trump has the MSM bobble-heads complaining about scoops of ice cream at the White House. If the mainstream media's reputation doesn't go below six percent after this pathetic whining...I think all Americans would be surprised.
