According to the Wall Street Journal, this recent animosity towards Pakistan has not gone over well. Pakistani Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said in an interview that the U.S. has failed to behave as an ally, and as a result, Pakistan no longer views it as one.
"We do not have any alliance [with the US]...This is not how allies behave.” If anything, Washington’s recent behavior has only pushed Pakistan into the open arms of America’s traditional rivals, China and Iran. China has long been providing financial and economic assistance of its own to Pakistan with plans to expand an economic partnership in the years to come.
It seems nations and entities that Trump is pulling US dollars from in the billions now...Now seem to be all very dependent on those US dollars after all this time. Hey maybe just like Pakistan if we pull US dollars out of the United Nations...Maybe the UN will do the same thing and state the United States is no longer an ally or friend like Pakistan has stated today. It's not like Pakistan has truly been an ally of the United States anyways, since Pakistan is known for harboring top terrorist targets like Osama Bin Laden.
Also instead of Pakistan being worried about the United States, how about Pakistan fixes the problem of radical Islamic terrorism in their own country...That tends to have Islamic bombings every month or two? So who else is an ally that has used America for decades is prepared to pull ties with the United States who have used and abused the relationship...Because millions of Americans welcome it.
