Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), an outspoken critic of the House Republican replacement for Obamacare, joined SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam on Friday’s Breitbart News Daily. Paul revealed he has been in constant contact with President Donald Trump about the issue, including a phone call Thursday night, and said the president is “very open to negotiation.” Kassam noted that the White House is making a push for the House bill on Paul’s home turf in Kentucky and asked if the situation had devolved into “all-out war” between Senator Paul and the executive branch. “Actually, I think the president is very open to negotiation,” Paul replied. “I talked to him again last night by phone. I’ve talked to him twice a week, which is quite a bit for anybody to talk to the president that’s not in the administration.” “I talked to him again last night. He said he’s open to negotiation, but I reiterated to him that Paul Ryan went on TV for 45 minutes yesterday with a press conference, and he said, ‘The response to this, the choices are binary.’ Well, binary means there are two choices: either we take it or leave it. Either we take Obamacare Lite or we get nothing. That isn’t sitting well with conservatives, and I promise you, the more we hear Paul Ryan say, ‘Take it or leave it,’ the less we’re willing to take it,” he said. Looks like America could escape from Obamacare 2.0 and Paul Ryan, as it looks like the President continues to be more open to Rand Paul's healthcare proposal. Just so Americans know, is that Paul Ryan's healthcare plan really isn't Obamacare-lite as it's more like Obamacare times three...Since illegals are still allowed to be covered under the AHCA and penalties under the AHCA are actually more expensive than even Obamacare was. Basically what the AHCA really is...Is simply Obamacare on steroids proposed by the GOP as some kind of Obamacare replacement plan. The fact that President Trump is open to talking to Rand Paul who has the better proposal on an Obamacare replacement, is only a good sign that the AHCA will never pass and Trump will never sign it into law. If I were President Trump I'd can the GOP plan for the actual plan created by an actual Doctor like Rand Paul is unlike Paul Ryan.
