When asked if he thought the “federal government, Donald Trump” could “impound” funds that would go a place like UC-Berkeley, Rand answered, “I think if it were a liberal president, and they were shutting down speech, they could probably do it. I don’t think that — I don’t think impounding funds is probably going to pass muster, but I think that Congress, and the people who appropriate the money, we should think about whether or not we should be sending money to universities that only have one set of speech.”
This is exactly what should be done to any university in America going against Americas most important Constitutional amendment of freedom of speech that receives funding from the Federal Government like UC Berkeley. Any school in the nation from pre school to secondary education centers like Berkeley who violate any Constitutional amendment mainly Americas 1st...Should not be allowed to be funded by the American taxpayer when they are willing to silence half of America.
Not only would this hold universities accountable for violating freedom of speech, but this would in the long run save Americans billions of dollars every year...Especially when these schools are no longer teaching kids life skills and only political agendas. When political agendas are taught at Berkeley instead of job trades why should American taxpayers be funding them in the first place...Because obviously college kids aren't learning trades today in Americas colleges and universities. Rand Paul is absolutely correct, because schools funded by the taxpayer should always support freedom of speech on both sides of the aisle if you want Americas tax dollars...Because when these Liberal colleges silence one side mainly the right that equates to have of Americas tax-dollars to put it simple.
