Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) blasted President Obama on Sunday, saying it was a mistake for him to pull out of Iraq because it laid the groundwork for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). “The historic blunder of President Obama was leaving Iraq,” Johnson said on CNN’s "State of the Union" with Jake Tapper Sunday. What many Americans blame the creation of ISIS for is what Ron Johnson can't seem to discuss. The very second we put Saddam out of power in Iraq, was simply the beginning of ISIS. They say Saddam committed humanitarian crimes by killing people by the masses, as I remember we never had to worry about ISIS when Saddam was in power. Saddam might of done some bad things yes, but Saddam was probably the man who kept people like ISIS members at bay. When people got out of hand in Iraq Saddam would simply just cut off the power. Do people not realize that when we complete regime change in the middle east chaos always follows behind regime change. The problem of ISIS could of been prevented if we just simply would of left Saddam in power and Iraq alone.
