Legal documents filed in a New York federal court by Wigdor on behalf of investigator Rod Wheeler on Tuesday outline the case against Fox News, Fox News reporter Malia Zimmerman and Texas financier Ed Butowsky. In the documents, which were first reported by NPR, Wheeler -- a former Washington, D.C., homicide detective -- claims he was hired by Butowsky to investigate the death of Democratic National Committee aide Seth Rich, who authorities believe was fatally shot near his home in D.C. in July 2016 during a robbery gone wrong.
Wheeler alleges in the suit that Fox News invented quotes for a fake news story that connected Rich's death to the leak of Democratic National Committee emails by WikiLeaks and attributed them to Wheeler, sullying his reputation.
Question is since this is a case representing Rod Wheeler the investigator involved in the Seth Rich murder, has Rod Wheeler been compromised? Or is this a case of Rod Wheeler trying to bring justice for Seth Rich, the reason for this Seth Rich Federal Court case just sounds a little odd doesn't it?
The reason for this case basically sounds like they are trying to debunk everything we know about the murder of Seth Rich from how it sounds, or is the lawyer making up a claim so the case of Seth Rich get's exposed in Federal Court. The facts of this Seth Rich case now getting ready to be heard in Federal Court make it seem like Rod Wheeler has possibly been compromised, or like I said Wheeler is just trying to get the Seth Rich case to finally be exposed...As it could actually be something totally different presented in court by Rod Wheeler and his lawyer. Now these are just reports, but what it sounds like is Rod Wheeler's lawyer is trying to debunk the whole Seth Rich story.
