The State Department has handed over more than 1,100 records to a House committee investigating the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, the committee said Friday. The records include files stored on network folders used by senior employees within the Office of the Secretary and emails from top aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "It is deplorable that it took over a year for these records to be produced to our committee, and that our Democrat colleagues never lifted a finger to help us get them," Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said in a statement. Only 1,100 records tied to something this treasonous? Seems like the state department is hiding thousands of records, by handing over just 1000 records. Just seems like a very low amount. Did the US State Department pull off a 9/11 commission like report, in hiding records from the Benghazi incident? Shouldn't all the Hillary emails be included in this record keeping as well, like the ones where she mentioned it was a planned attack? This is the State Department who is all of a sudden handing over Benghazi documents over after 4 years of questions. Don't you feel like 4 years of questions should be equating to more then 1,100 records? More then likely lots of manipulating of these reports were likely incorporated into these reports, after four years of not handing them over.
