The Trump administration said Thursday night it is pulling back advertising to promote HealthCare.gov as open enrollment draws to a close for this year. The Health and Human Services Department said in a statement that the government has pulled back about $5 million in ads as part of an effort to cut costs. The statement said HHS has already spent more than $60 million to promote sign-ups this year under former President Barack Obama’s health care law. Former Obama officials immediately accused the new administration of “sabotage.” Calling the decision “outrageous,” former HealthCare.gov CEO Kevin Counihan said in a statement that the move could keep young, healthy people from getting into the insurance pool, thereby driving up costs. “We know that more young people enroll during the final days of open enrollment, but they need to be reminded of the Jan. 31 deadline,” Counihan said. If nothing else tells you that the Trump administration is seriously planning on ending Obamacare, it would be the Trump administration pulling millions of dollars worth of Healthcare.gov ads from tv and possibly the internet. Obama is going to be seriously pissed off when he wakes up one of these mornings and he turns on his television and personally sees no healthcare.gov ads advertising to the American people. Personally I've seen the healthcare.gov ads, so I'll personally be looking to see if the ads are taken off the TV. This pulling of healthcare.gov ads will save us tax payer money in the millions, and also people likely won't even think about getting Obamacare if the Trump administration starts pulling the brainwashing healthcare.gov ads from the media. If you want to know if something is ending very shortly, always looks to see if it's no longer being advertised.
