The Washington Examiner first reported Tuesday evening Republican Sens. David Perdue of Georgia and Tom Cotton of Arkansas would meet with Trump on Wednesday to privately, then publicly, unveil an immigration bill, which was presumed to be an updated version of the Reforming American Immigration for a Strong Economy (RAISE) Act.
Trump’s endorsement marks the beginning of a push toward a radically different legal immigration policy in the United States compared to the one that’s been in place for the past several decades. It also marks a new approach to immigration reform than Sens. John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Marco Rubio of Florida had attempted in 2013 with the “Gang of Eight” bill.
Here we go America Trump once again has a new plan to safe guard the United States and our National Security, by way of pushing a bill for immigration reform. Not only is Trump after illegal immigration in a big way by way of a new border barrier and immigration enforcement raids, but Trump is now prepared to fix our very lax legal immigration system to get into the United States legally. Knowing how Trump stands on immigration our guess should be that this will only allow immigrants who assimilate to American values, and will also get tougher on things like green cards and visas as well.
Now that Trump is targeting tougher legal immigration, get ready for the typical Left Wing George Soros riots...As well as Democrats and the media once again calling Trump racist. When all Trump is doing is protecting our immigration laws and our National Security. This will be the first time in 50 years if this bill is passed that Americas immigration system has been reformed.
