State Department and National Security Council officials have asked Trump to consider a more low-profile introduction to the Russian president and perhaps avoid an extended conversation altogether, AP reported. Among the recommendations are a brief and informal “pull-aside” on the summit’s sidelines, and a meeting of U.S. and Russian delegations for “strategic stability talks”—a format which may or may not involve heads of state. There is no official confirmation on Moscow’s or Washington’s side that a meeting in any form has been agreed upon, but Putin and Trump will both attend the summit.
Regardless of what the Democrat establishment thinks about Russia...Well the meeting between Trump and Putin will happen in a little over a week at G-20 in Germany. Hopefully President Trump and Putin can meet up and squash all the unnecessary beef between the two nations coming up in about a week like terrorism, trade, and sanctions.
Now it looks like White House officials and security officials are trying to tell Trump to lay low with meeting with Putin, but it's Trump and the only way to solve problems between America and Russia is for Trump and Putin to use this moment to meet and have open debate. Of course when President Trump meets with Putin in Germany in about a week expect a major harassment of fake news against President Trump. The meeting between the most powerful leaders on Earth is going to happen, and hopefully some major problems are finally solved. If this meeting goes good hopefully Trump invites Putin to the White House for further discussions on issues.
