A widespread cyber-attack was carried out against some of the world’s biggest websites on Friday, with users unable to access Twitter, SoundCloud, Spotify and many others for over two hours. Major DNS host Dyn says access to websites was restored following a DDoS attack early Friday, stating that “services have been restored to normal as of 13:20 UTC,” following hours of outages online. According to Hacker News, a “Massive Dyn DNS outrage” caused Twitter, Etsy, Github, SoundCloud and Spotify to go down. No-one has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks. Other sites reportedly affected included Airbnb, Reddit and Vox Media. Users said they had a variety of issues, depending on their location, Tech Crunch reports. SoundCloud thanked users for their "patience" as the site returned to normal. Currently at the moment it looks mostly like Liberal areas in America are mostly affected by this and Florida, now I really have no problem with Twitter being knocked out or others...But we are living at the end of a presidential administration hell bent on cyber attacks. Is this cyber attack today conspired by the Obama administration, in a warning to Russia to show what the Federal government can do in cyber attack? Remember just last week Joe Biden mentioned to NBC News that a major cyber attack was coming very soon, so is this a cyber attack test on the Untied States by our government to show Russia what Obama can do to Russia in the event Obama launches a cyber attack on Russia? Also remember that this cyber attack comes just 21 days after the Obama administration gave up internet control to the United Nations...So is there something that was put out that the Obama team doesn't want out, like maybe a recent release by Wikileaks or other like organizations?
