Nearly two-thirds of the US Navy’s F/A 18 strike fighters cannot fly, “most because there isn’t enough money to fix them,” Defense News reported, adding the fleet has been grounded because jets undergoing planned maintenance are awaiting spare parts. Sixty-two percent of the US Navy’s F/A-18s are out of service, of which 27 percent are in major depot work and 35 percent are simply awaiting maintenance or parts, Defense News said, adding that 53 percent of all Navy aircraft – some 1,700 combat aircraft, patrol, transport planes, and helicopters – can’t fly. This is probably a problem with parts manufactures and not the NAVY itself, as this is likely an effort by corporations who don't like President Trump. Now it is probably time for a new bird in the US NAVY, since the F-18 has been flying nearly for twenty years. However who ever let this information out that most NAVY fighter jets can't fly, needs to be discovered stat...Because letting the world know the NAVY can't fly is a major National Security issue. Now since one-third of the fighters are up and running don't freak out to much, because fighters stationed overseas or deployed are likely still working in operation. Before all F-18 fighters go down something does need to be solved, because this could turn into a major National Security issue...Especially for military personnel who depend on these birds for cover. This however is what happens when the US Government spends trillions on the F-35 program that never seems to work of course. The real problem however likely lays in the hands of the Obama administration, sending millions to enemies overseas in it's support of ISIS through the rebel training programs...So the major probability here is likely with the Obama administration funding SJW movements and foreign nations instead of Americas own military.
